EPEC Ltd was formed and incorporated in July 2018 by husband and wife team Emma and Daniel Hurst.

Our aim is to help save customer’s money and the planet using our skills and experience in Energy Management, Energy Monitoring, Energy use Analysis and Target Setting, Energy Consultancy and Renewable Technology Installations.
We offer a range of services including Sunamp Heat Battery Installations , domestic EPCs, On Construction EPCs, domestic energy management, retfrofit surveys, Architectural design and Specification.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE.
Daniel Hurst BSc hons, Director.
Daniel has many years experience working commercially as a director of a construction business.
Daniel is trained to install Sunamp UniQ Heat batteries and EPEC Ltd is a reseller and installation partner of Sunamp Ltd.
Daniel qualified as a Domestic Energy Assessor with a Level 3 BTEC Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment and is accredited by Quidos (accreditation number QUID206912). He is also a qualified Retrofit assessor accredited through Elmhurst Energy Ltd. Daniel carries out domestic energy and retrofit surveys and produces Energy Performance Certificates for these. He is also an OCDEA (On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor) also accredited through Elmhurst Energy Ltd.
Daniel is on his Associate RICS pathway as a Building Surveyor. This combined with his technical expertise in using Autocad and Revit for architectural design and BIM (Building Information Management) allows us to provide a high quality architectural design and specification service for domestic projects such as house extensions. Daniel’s skills and experience in these areas allow our client’s projects to be designed to meet current Building Regulations and receive planning approval.
Daniel’s BSc hons Combined honours Degree with a specialism in Energy Management complements his work as a Domestic Energy Assessor as well as his work in Building Surveying. He is able to carry out complete energy audits on domestic properties, collect and analyse energy usage data, make recommendations, set targets for improvement, design and commission improvement measures and monitor the impact of these reporting back as appropriate.
Daniel is an affiliate Member of The Energy Managers Association.
With his experience working in construction and energy management Daniel is able to design and install solutions to domestic houses to reduce energy costs, design home extensions and advise on getting the best out of domestic reconfiguration projects. This installation work is closely tied into the work of the construction company he is also a director of.
